We work to provide menus, in-service and online education, and training on nutrition, food service, sanitation and safe food handling for Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes and Adult Day Care Centers. We strive to provide the best personalized, one-on-one service to fit your needs.

Our Story

Since 1988, Ana has worked at several hospitals, home health and private practices. She has provided nutrition consulting to patients with needs that include Diabetes, Weight Management, Cardiovascular Disease, Hyperlipidemia, Digestive Disorders, and Thyroid Disorders. She helped her patients to achieve improved health, weight loss, and overall well-being.

Since then, she has become a successful entrepreneur who, since 1990, started, developed, and has grown a successful business through the creation of Living Well Menus, Inc.

Ana M. Alvarez

Founder & CEO

Ana M. Alvarez, RD, LD, CDE, is a Registered Licensed Dietitian in the state of Florida. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. In addition, she is a Certified Diabetes Educator and Certified Food Service Manager.

She has appeared numerous times on television programs, including Univision’s Despierta America and Buenos Dias Miami, giving Food Preparation Demonstrations, Nutrition Education and general nutrition advice to the public. Ana is a member The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and The American Diabetes Association


Elizabeth Valadez, RD


Elizabeth Valadez, RD, is a Registered Dietitian in the state of Texas and Florida. She holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University.

Elizabeth has worked previously at Memorial Healthcare System and has experience with inpatient care.


Misleidy Lago

Administrative Assistant

Misleidys has worked with Living Well Menus since 2012 . She assists Ana in daily roles as well as currently manages the online certification program.


Reynerio Garcia

Chief Financial Officer

Reynerio is a Certified Food Service Manager in the state of Florida and works together with Ana M. Alvarez to assist in technical and financial advising support. Reynerio has been with Living Well Menus, Inc. since its launch.


Sarah Garcia, Ph.D.

IT Consultant

Sarah has worked as technology support and webmaster for Living Well Menus since 2011, allowing the company to grow with adding features and online training.
